Oh Shit Yeah! A Serious Grind live cd, which was recorded in East Pittsburgh at Giorgios (the best place to see a local Metal show) Before you even hear it, judging by the titty pic on the cover, you know you got something good. The cd starts off with "ED the Baker" a short 30second type song with lyrics such as "Murder,Murder,Murder,Kill,Kill,Kill" this is gonna be a local grindcore classic for sure. Next is their Anti Mcdonalds song "Eat at Macdowells" which is another 30second type grind song. You can really hear some good low end vokills from Josh in this song. Next up is another favorite "Ancient Chinese Secret" which starts off with the joke "If you punch a Chinaman in the face, does he become disoriented?" A real short but Brutal song. Following that is a song about old saggy balls "Born Young in Pittsburgh, Die Old in Florida" The "Die" in the vokills sometimes reminds me of a pirate, just fuckin with ya Josh. Next up is a oh so true song "Goth Kids are Gay." Guitarist and Josh's brother Larry does some back up vokills in this song. I agree, goth kids are tottally gay. Maybe if they didnt spend hours on their faggy makeup or wear makeup at all, they would'nt get cut-up on. Quit crying and being depressed you gay goth clowns. Anyways next up is a really good cover of "As Civilians Die" by the all female Portland Punk band Harum Scarum. I love the original, and this live cover is very cool. Next up is an important song about the West Memphis Three. "3 Dead 3 Lifeless" is a real heavy song. There's some clean vokills in it, but don't worry, it's not clean like singing or anything. More like speaking. Thats good though, cause you need to know what is up with the WM3. Next is a song that some uptight people mind find perverse or such, but fuck em. This is Grind, Serious Grind. "Kate, This is Our Lil' Secret" is about some girl named Katie and stuff. I've never seen this Katie, but goddamn, i wanna fuck her too. If dude is gonna write a song about her, she must be fine. This song i guess could be considered a love song or maybe "fuck song." After that lovely track is "The Tattoo that Got Away", which as you might of guessed is another song about a fine ass woman with an even finer tattoo. I know i like my women with Ink. "Car Washin' for Christ" is next and is about those lame ass wastes the christians washin cars for fundraisers. Probably so the head preacher of the church can buy a new car or hooker. Fuck off Christians, this is Satan's world. Wake up and join Reality! Following that is "Coke Blown in Colorado." Shit, i'd like to be Coke Blown anywhere, but i'm sure Colorado is cool. The last song on this song is "Hippies Have the Right Idea" which they do. All about smokin on the mighty plant. You can hear Larry do some more back ups screaming "Marijuana". This whole live cd is good. Sounds pretty good too. If you like your grindcore crushing, heavy as hell, humorus, and offensive to some, then this cd, and band is for you. Keep an ear and eye open for the new Serious Grind studio full length, coming out soon. And to the record labels, don't be shy. Contact these motherfuckers and make your label cool, or cooler if it is already cool. Later on and Stay High -DJ
