Euro-thrash, Japanese Style! Sadistic Eyes play a rather uninspired thrash metal in the vein of Kreator. Their downfall is in their songwriting. It isn’t that hey can’t play, because they have talent oozing out of their pores. They just don’t seem to have an original idea in their hits. This demo sounds like it should be called “Mille Petrozza’s greatest riffs” or something like that. The production is decent, if a little flat. The vocals seem to be oddly separated from the mix, but that may be the result of the processor I think I’ve detected. Lyrically, things tend to be a bit cheesy, but I won’t hold it against them, as English obviously isn’t their native tongue. All in all an average release.
