From the beginning feedback to the first song "MANSON" i knew i would instantly love this disc! And i was right. MANSON, is a great song to start off this cd. If you can't tell this song is about everyones favorite killer, Charles Manson. As soon as the 2 minute mark of the song comes in, you'll be amazed by a brutal breakdown down hardcore style, or should i say Sludge-core style. Best lyric of the song is: "I don't feel alive until i take your life" There's also some tripped out effects over the clean vocal/ trance part, which sound like something that would have been created in the late 60's. Next is "BLUE RUNS RED", which is an awesome song both musically and lyrically(i totally agree with you Scott). The song coveres a very serious issue and problem in todays Society. Police Brutality. Abuse of Power. Next is "THREE SHALL FALL". Ever here of the movie on HBO with Metallica tunes in it, called "Paradise Lost", well that's what this song is about. The West Memphis Three. A very good tune i might add. "SCREWFACE" is next. A very tripped out sounding song, especially for the first 30 seconds. Eddie and Dave do some impressive sounding tap on stuff. The Lyrics are cool too. Track 5, "JUDGEMENT", you better get ready for this Sludge Track. This is a very important song Lyrically. It talks about treating people equal and without Judgement. And it's some awesome Sludge. Three minutes into the song there's an awesome transition, which reminds me just a little bit of HELMET. It's very good. One of my all time NT tracks. "ZODIAC" is next. An awesome upbeat good feeling type song. It will definitely get your head moving to the beat. 1:27 into the song there's a real cool clean type vocal part, then comes Scott's Brutal heavy vokills. Okay here is the Ultimate NT song in my opinion: "IT". This song is 7minutes of pure Sludge and Brutality. No joke, the first time i heard this tune while driving at night, i had to pull over in an isolated lot, and blaze up, hot-boxing my Chrysler LHS till i could hardly see or breathe. Four minutes into the song, the guitars get down-tuned and the Sludge flows on, extra slow of course. This just might be some of the best Sludge ever recorded. Next up is "LEECH". I remember this track from the Reconciled Hate days, and i still love it. It's not very Sludge, but if every song was Sludge, i might get boring. But a very cool track indeed. 1:22 into the song there is a very heavy breakdown. Last track (well kinda) "LAST EXIT", is a newer song that i'm not sure if i've seen it live, but i hope too. Extremely Heavy, and a good way to end the album. But wait... There's more. After LAST EXIT, there's 3 track of feedback, that are about 10 seconds each, which lead up to and awesome EYEHATEGOD cover. I'm not gonna give away which EHG song it is, you'll have to get the cd to find out. But you'll love it! I also wanna mention that the recording of this album sounds great, as it was recorded by Eric Klinger of PRO-PAIN. And the layout and cover design are really good. And they even used some of my live pictures! So get this cd and check em out live. -DJ BUSHMADO
