Are you guys originally from Pittsburgh?
The band is originated from Pittsburgh. But Dave and Eddie are from Altoona, PA, Scott's from Buffalo, NY and Chip's from Pittsburgh,PA
So what's new with the band? any recording or touring plans? I heard their might be a Negative Theory/Forced Under split, is that true!?!?
Writing some new shit, hopefully recording at least a four song disc real shortly, and there is talk about a FU and NT split. 
Can you define the term Sludgecore?
Sludgecore is something we came up with because were not really HardCore and were not really the sludge metal of the South. It's Stoner rock meets Southern Doom meets metal meets hardcore. We mix everything up a little.
You seem to be the only band in Pittsburgh with the doom/sludge sound, what are your thoughts on that?
There are a few of us out there like Penance, but not too many.
In your group photo there is an upside down flag, does NT have any political message? 
Previous to September 11th we spoke up about this kind of thing. Since then we chilled out because some people get offended, which is a crock of shit...most people did not give a fuck, they weren't patriotic. But now all of a sudden 95% of the poopulation is gung ho and United we stand blah, blah, blah. This only helps the government. People need to wake the hell up and realize that the government may be a little occupied with this whole ordeal but their still sticking it right in our ass and were all sitting back with a big smile not even noticing. If this country gave such a big fuck about us in this tradgedy they would have taken care of this problem years ago many,many years ago. All we got's to say is don't believe the lies.

Does one person in the band write all the lyrics, or do other members contribute?
Scott writes most of them and if he needs an idea the rest of us spit some shit out.

EYEHATEGOD, V.O.D., Snapcase, Suicidal Tendencies, and Pre-Black Album Metallica

MIT
What was the best show you've ever played, how bout the worst?
We opened up for Mushcup one night in Midland at the Roadhouse 19 and it was a disaster we weren't using our equipment, the crowd pretty much hated us, and wwe had no vibe what-so-ever. That had to be the worst. The best would probably be MIT w/ Endless and Sworn Enemy. Not a lot of people bu the right people and we were tight sound was great and we just had a good time.

Dave-Korn,Flotsam and Jetsom,Fear Factory, and Megadeth Pittsburgh

Chip-The first one I can remember and gave a fuck about was Testament, ProPain and Green Jello(hahaha)(92?)

What are your thoughts on the way we live in society, if you could change one thing what would it be?
More respect to other's.
What can a NT fan expect in the future as far as Songs are concerened, will the new songs be like Zodiac, Mansdon or will they be SLUDGE like Judgement and IT?
We are constantly trying new stuff, we do not want to be a repetitive band doing the same shit over and over in every song. We try to produce different styles of songs because "Variety is the Spice of Life"
