Three former members of Sinning Is Our Savior have emerged in a new
outfit, Crown the Lost. By association alone, there are many parallels between Crown the Lost and Sinning Is Our Savior, but there is a greater focus on melody, groove, and clean vocals, yet the music is still very much in the vein of technical thrash.
Crown the Lost is comprised of Chris Renaldi (vocals), Andy Hart (lead
guitars) and 3/4's of Sinning Is Our Savior: David E. Gehlke (rhythm
gutiars), Ryan Eicheldinger (bass), and Joe Bonaddio (drums).
The band will entering the studio in late November to record their
debut
EP, titled Equally Blessed and Cursed" and will be performing throughout
the
area in the coming months.

09/09/05: Blood Sundae News & Info
Blood Sundae are a UK based all girl metal band that formed at the beginning of 2004. They initially began as a 4 piece but became 5 in January 2005. Throughout 2004 Blood Sundae secured many high profile venues throughout the UK and received a very positive response. This response aided them in becoming one of the 15 winners of the Leeds City Council organised event ‘Bright young Things’. This proved to be a great opportunity giving the girls the opportunity to feature on a widely distributed compilation album and enabled them to perform at a high profile venue in their hometown.
At this time Emily the vocalist for Blood Sundae discovered the Dark Angel Project on the Internet. An application was sent and Blood Sundae were accepted as Dark Angel’s UK band. The Dark Angel Project in an underground initiative for young unsigned bands performing rock, metal and electronic music including their sub genres. The project ensures that bands are educated in the workings of the industry and therefore are ready to deal with music law, the media and also production methods to name a few.
The project in financed and run by Ankha of Ankha Productions. Ankha is a top multi selling producer and artist in South Africa and it is amazing what she is doing to help these young bands. In her own words the project is there ‘to lead you through the gates of hell’ meaning the music industry as; Ankha knows how difficult it is to establish yourself in the industry and also how it can be more difficult to stay there.
In July 2005 Blood Sundae flew out to Johannesburg to record their debut album. The time allocated due to the bands other commitments was 19 days. Blood Sundae excelled in their efforts and not only managed to record a 12-track album. They also recorded two music videos and played 2 high profile gigs. All this in 19 days, they did what many said couldn’t be done.
The as the as yet untitled debut album is now being mixed and will be released in a few months time. In the meantime Blood Sundae are continuing to write and are undergoing intensive rehearsals in preparation for a tour later this year.

As many of you already know, Crisis will be joining Exodus this Fall for a national tour. Already in the works is a new Street Team initiative to spread the word and promote the shows. 08/11/05: Local Pitt Punkers release DVD on Da' Core Records!
Long time Pitt punkers Submachine will be releasing their very first live DVD on Tuesday, September 13th through Da' Core Records. The DVD, entitled "Loose at the Moose" captured the band's 13th anniversary show at The Smiling Moose on the South Side of Pittsburgh. Along with the live performance, the package also contains interviews with the band and fans as well as a live audio CD.
The DVD release party is set for Saturday, September 3rd at The Smiling Moose located at 1306 E. Carson St. in Pittsburgh. Special guests include label mates The Cheats. The show will also be a celebration of label owner Eric Corbin's ???th birthday.
