Let me start off this review by stating that this full length "ILLOGICAL" by ILL Noise Inc is truely a brilliant work of art! The cd came shrink wrapped with a Mr. Yukk sticker on it. The disc starts of with a short tripped out intro, that at the end will sound familiar to people who see movies in a good theater. The production and sound quality is excellent. Ill noise is full of funky Metal with technical parts, and great piano/keyboard parts. After the intro comes the title track "Illogical" which is a great twisted metal song. Next up is "Autumn Sun", which rules. After that comes a radio friendly type song "Window Pain." The keyboard is this song is amazing. Then Comes the "1st Intermission: The Screaming Mime" which is an awesome funk metal samurai sounding instrumental. Next is "Skeptic" a very cool track. Then comes "Intersection" which starts with what sound like the two guitars playing off each other. Great song! Next is another familiar ILL Noise tune: "Don't Mind Me" with a great chorus. Up next is "2nd Intermission: the Bastard God of Antiluck" which is a funkish dark sounding instrumental, which will prepare you for the next song: "4:17" which in my opinion is the best song on this cd. That song fuckin rules, no other way to put it. Next to last is the song: "All That Jazz" which is great musically but starts with a kind of vocal rapping part, which i'm not really into but if that's your thing, you'll like it. Final song: "orchid(it's gone)" This song is heavy as a brick (in Oprah's hand), and has a real eerie sound it. Perfect way to end this wonderful cd. There's a total of 12 songs in 38 minutes. And the coolest thing is these guys are from Pittsburgh. So check out their website and buy this cd!
