Glumgold CD
I recieved this cd a few months ago, but this is only the 3rd time i've listened to it. After listened to it the first time i felt mentally raped. I thought it was "weird" or "crazy". But i decided to give it another listen a few days ago to see why i though it was "weird" or "crazy". I just got done listening to it for the 3rd time.This is a very hard CD to review because it is nothing that i'm used to, so here goes---
1."R" 3:47
Odd guitar sounds and noises, kind of repeats itself then I noticed a beat, I think its a bass drop.
2."abrasion" 2:31
Comes in with very loud distorted guitar riff that keeps on repeating, While one of these guys screams over and over saying something I can't make out cause the vocals are very distorted. Also some odd noises in the background.
3."statistics" 2:24
kind of starts of with a drum beat that seems to loop through the whole song. Some kind of very distorted guitar. Lots of samples, not sure of what.
4."redshift"4:05
disturbing awful sounding screams saying or singing something,guitar sounds and noises, really freaks me out. Then a distorted voice comes in and starts talking stuff I can't comprehend because of the other sounds. Then it ends.
5."EYEHATEGRIEF" 2:14 kind of starts where the last song left off. I think I hear a gong at the end?
6."progression" 2:38
I think this is a prank call. phone rings, a older guy answers and says Mike Archer, then the other person keeps says is mike there? about 3 times with some kind of effect on it. Then the older guy finally understands him and then its over? nah, this cool rap beat comes in that reminds me of something that would be in a Ice Cube song. Very Cool, got my head bobbin.

starts of w/ a metal sounding riff and bassline, lasts for 58seconds then goes into something totally different, with screaming, I madeout the word "12 Gauge" I hear a few pick harmonics, Some Death Metal Vocals!?!
9.? 13:22 I cannot review this song.
This cd is the type that really makes you think and fucks with your brain. To sum it up IT'S COOL! Make sure you check out their site, they have songs in real audio format. so if you don't have a realplayer find time to download it. I'm out----DJ
