Doomed Nation. One Nation under Doom. I agree, we live in a Doomed Nation for sure. Not only that, but a cursed Nation because of all the natives that were killed. With that being said, i'm stoked to have the new Doomed Nation on dvd as my older copy of the 1st Doomed Nation VHS is wearing out cause of all the times i've watched it. Now you wanna be prepared like i always am, so you can fully enjoy this dvd. Pack up the bong, roll a fat blunt, crack open your 40oz or 6pack and you're ready to go. If Crack is your thing, then smoke some Fat Rocks to this. If Dope is your thing, then hell, shoot up some black or dark brown shit and the loud slow sludge might keep you from nodding off, maybe. This dvd starts off with what i like to call the Doomed Nation theme song. Insane Metal with all kinds of killer solos while real life images flash on the screen to remind you that we live in a doomed nation at doomed times. You see a cartoon duck say "showtime" then starts laughing. Right after that comes the first video by FISTULA, which is a slowed down cover of "cocaine" which you might be familiar with as it is the last track on FISTULA's Idiopathic CD. This video rules. Someone is cuttin up some fat rails of sunshine in this video. And you know Tom did this video by the tripped out tunnel effect in the middle. Goddamn, i wish i had some paper to trip on as this would make for some intense visuals. Then there is some news shit probably from the Manson Family, with writings on the walls such as "Death to Pigs" and "Rise". Very cool. Next up is a video from 16. It's a good video and a good song. There's scenes from a classic movie on here too that seems to go with the music at times, which is always cool. Now at the end of this video they show 16's web address, which is 16zoloftsmile.com. Now i took Zoloft a couple times back in 1996, and the shit did not make me smile at all, instead i got violent from it. But as far as psych pills go, i got mad hookups from mad doctors on shit that no one even knows about yet. Anyway, back to the review, next up is a great video from THE HIDDEN HAND. There's all kinds of real shit in this that deals with War and such. THE HIDDEN HAND rules! The first time i seen and heard this, i couldn't get this tune outta my head. After that is a short cartoon pigs thing. You really gotta love the shit inbetween videos. Jumbo's Killcrane is next. This video was directed by Tom D. This tune is kinda slow, and sludgy. Video includes stuff like demolition equipment such as cranes and shit like that. Following that video is some killer vid from SLEEP. Really good stuff here. This black and white video is the real deal. Right after the SLEEP video, there a small on camera thing with Matt Pike where he even talks about the video you just saw and how some people wanted them to lipsync but they weren't down with that, and i can see why. Lip syncin is gay. But yeah Matt just says they had to match the shit up. Videos are always better that way in my opinion. After that is a short clip with some dude with the colors all fucked up, talkin bout takin acid. SMOKE's video is up next. I immediatley recognized this tune from the Smoke Follows Beauty cd. Its full of Bikers and Sexy Women from begining to end. You'll see some hot women from the 60's or mid 70's dancin in this. After that is a swine officer in a car talking about how he doesnt understand why someone standing on the street is callin him a PIG. I'll tell you why you swine pork chop motherfucker. Because All Pigs deserve to DIE! Especially for puttin my young brothas in Prison for their entire lifes for nuthin but drug related shit. FUCK OFF SWINE. Go fuck yourselfs till your assholes hangs lower than your shriveled up pig dicks! And that's from the heart. Fuck you Pigs! If you're reading this then get the fuck off of my site and never return, this is for people not pigs. Cause i hate your Pig Blood, Your Familes, and everyone you love and claim to protect And the sight of you makes me wanna vomit up my dope and booze all over your snout. The system you defend is a joke. With that being said, the next video is one from a great band from CHICAGO called INDIAN. They rule and have a great name. Now this is a live clip, any by the distorted sound you can kinda tell how loud INDIAN is live. Oh Fuck Yeah, RWAKE is next with a live clip of their song "worts". Now i've been into Rwake going on 4years and they truely Reign and Kick tons of Ass, and i NEVER get sick of em like allot of bands. Like the INDIAN live clip, this sound is even more distorted. I guess some video cameras can't handle the sonic flood and wall of sound that is the Mighty Rwake. Sony needs to hurry their alien lookin asses up and build a camera that can handle loud sludge. And i know what i'm talkin about cause i filmed metal and punk shows for 3 years, and always had some kinda distortion on the sound, either cause i was too close to the speakers or the shit was just way loud. After the RWAKE video, is some awesome BAKULA shit. Which sounds like CT from RWAKE narrarating some of it. It's pretty sick. Some cartoon dude cuts of his arms and legs. Hey i guess you gotta do what you gotta do for Bakula. Though i won't cut off anything for anybody, not even my hair or beard. There's a preview for the next episode featuring WEEDEATER. Hell yeah, i'm looking forward to that shit. After that, you think it is over but it is not. There is about 15minutes of pretty much bullshit. Like visual shit that seems to be different layers. Now when i first got this i played it frame by frame, to see if i could find any subliminal shit. But that was months ago, and can't remember nor really care about my subconsious. But i just wished they woulda saved this shit for last on the dvd. Cause now i gotta find the fuckin remote and fast forward this shit. Once that is done, there's some more stuff. Then there is an old ST. VITUS video that's real good. Although it's not ST.VITUS with Scott Wino, but it's still good. Now this is all around a great dvd. And i'm glad there are heads out there like Tom Denney who spread the word of such great sludge through video. Looking forward to the next episode. Here are a couple suggestions though, maybe add a CROWBAR video like on the first VHS tape. More RWAKE. Some FACE DOWN IN SHIT footage if you have any. And definetly some Titties and Pussies, and Assess. I mean we need something to jack off to after the music is done. Till then stay high,drunk,and fucked up as i always do! -DJ
