I'm writing this cause Traktor 7 Records sucks. They have yet to give me a release that I can tear a new one. I'm sick of writing all this positive shit. It's really starting to reflect bad on my image. Anyway with that being said, Crash and Burn play rock n roll. I'm talking the kind that makes your head hurt cause you've been bobbing your head and stomping your feet the whole evening. Phil Goldenberg brings back the rock guitar solo on this album. I'm talking timeless rock n roll here people. This could have been any decade and it would still rock the same. Billy Brown smokes through the vocal tracks like a possessed Chuck Berry. I can see his eyes rolling while he vomits pea soup singing these songs. Bassist Jeffrey Artiaco knows his bllues bass lines. He keep a heavy groove rolling through all the chaotic rock madness. Every song on here is well composed. They all have more hooks than a bait shop. Drummer Brendan Jones pulls out all of the good rock chops on this one. There is also an extensive list of extra musicians: Zack Brines - Piano / Organ, Ian Adams - Harmonica, Marc Schleicher - bacing vocals, Micah Smaldone - Backing Vocals. Most of the lyrics are about trials and tribulations the band has encountered on the road or the strip clubs. All the lyrics are heart felt and belted out as such. Crash and Burn is the real deal. No bullshit, just ass kickin rock.
