Criminally Insane
Darkness of the Mind

Here's a debut cd from one of my favorite Death/Thrash Metal bands. Criminally Insane. Darkness of the Mind. CD starts off with "Bring Out the Dead", i first heard this song on the old Criminally Insane Thrash Metal demo. This new recording of the song slays, and there's a killer solo by guitarist Andy. Next up is "Suffer" For the first 22 seconds of this song i wasn't sure what to expect from the mellow intro. But Suffer ends up being one of the most Brutal and Violent songs on this cd. This song is about a bad relationship, and killing the dude who's fucking your girl. Plus you'll hear Buddy's low end vocals in the song, which he uses through out the rest of the cd. Another killer lead in this tune also. Actually there's at least one solo in every song on this cd, which is just how i like my Metal. There is a brutal stomping insturmental on this cd titled "Darkness of the Mind" Following the killer instrumental, comes the song "Thrash", a song simply about THRASHING. Another good tune "Johnathan" a song about murder, seen through the eyes of the killer. This song was also origianlly on the Thrash Metal demo i had. There's a total of 8 pure metal tracks on the disc, clocking in around 30minutes. The production is clean and crisp. And i think it's very cool that my live CI pictures were used in the cd layout, and that i was thanked in the thanks list, which is always cool and appreciated. All Hail CRIMINALLY INSANE and Long Live METAL!!!!
